Continuation of COVID-19 procedures

Continuation of COVID-19 procedures

Dear Valued Patient

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support over this past year. It has been extremely difficult on our team, working within the various guidelines and wearing the required PPE, which makes working conditions particularly tough.

Overwhelmingly, our lovely patients have been supportive and kind – not to mention extremely good humoured – when visiting the practice, and we extend our huge thanks to you all.

As from Monday 19th July, with guidelines changing, we would just like to reiterate our procedures for patients entering the building. Under NHS guidelines, all medical settings will still require patients to wear facemasks. Therefore, if you are not wearing a facemask, you will not be allowed to enter the practice for treatment.

We have a number of clinically vulnerable patients who are unable to be vaccinated for various reasons. We also have over 35 staff, whom we want to keep safe and working, to ensure your treatments are not cancelled. Coronavirus is still very much in existence and causing problems and disruption for many people. Therefore, we fully support the NHS in making this correct decision.

We will still be maintaining social distancing within the practice, so please continue to be guided by the team when entering with regards to where you can sit and following the one way system around the practice.

We continue to ask you not to attend the practice with anyone else unless you have prior approval to do so.

Thank you again for your support and as the government are saying ‘let’s take this next step safely together’.

Kindest regards,

The Essex Smile Centre Team.
