Your first appointment
On your first visit to The Smile Centre you will greeted by one of our friendly reception team who will ask you to fill in Medical sheet and Smile assessment, this is to ensure that your treatment will take into account any medical issues you may have and is there for your safety. The Smile questionnaire will assess if you have a particular interest in having your teeth straightened, teeth whitened, or any other dental or cosmetic queries. Both of these forms can be downloaded from our website.
You will be shown through to our comfortable patient lounge where you can relax. Your dental nurse or hygienist will then take you to the appropriate treatment room. We do understand that this can be quite a stressful time for most people, so we will sympathise with your fears and endeavour to make sure everything is done at a pace you are comfortable with.
Once you have attended your first appointment, your dentist will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding your treatment, please feel free to ask as we want to ensure that you are 100% happy with your planned treatment.
At the reception desk you will be given a written or emailed treatment plan with the cost of the treatment. Once again please feel free to ask our experienced reception team any questions you may have.
