Our story starts in 1967 when our father Denis Keane bought a squat practice on the High Street and had an empty waiting room.

Dad was always generous with his Staff and he always looked after his girls, (his nurses and receptionists) and boys, two associates Bill Anderson and Tommy Parker. These two lads both joined our team in 1981 and have now looked after many of the local population for nearly thirty years.

Soon the practice was growing rapidly as word got around that there was a good dentist in town. By the 1990’s the practice had gone from 2 surgeries to four. The team was developing well and in 1997 Declan joined us, initially on a part time basis.

When Stephen joined the team in 2003, we expanded to a five surgery practice and employed and welcomed some new team members. Our new team members included: Kay, our Head Dental Hygienist; Linda, now a trained Patient Co-ordinator; and Sue, our Senior Receptionist.

We decided to take on the ownership of the team in 2004 and we purchased the practice from Dad. We were fortunate, as Dad had set the Bar high and all the team knew that they were always judged against the high standards Denis had set. This meant that new team members would slot into place and immediately be aware of the work ethic, positive attitude and team togetherness that was expected of them.

Last year, 2008, we totally refurbished, re designed and expanded our premises to a six-surgery practice. Throughout all this change and expansion, we have strived to improve as a team, offering the best service, the highest quality dentistry.
